The 3rd rarest silver dollar (Morgan) behind the 1893-S and 1894 is the coveted 1885-CC. A key coin in any grade our buyers have amassed a small hoard of these beautiful coins in PCGS and NGC certified slabs. A total of 8 coins a task it took us 8 months to accomplish. In the world of great coins this one is very worth while to own. In 1972, it was a hoard coin, which meant that even though mintages are minuscule (only 228,000 original issue) it can still be found in certain grades in reasonable quantity.
