| Burnished Lincoln 8 Coin Set MS67
The coins in this deal are different from any you will ever find in circulation. Not just because of the high grade but because of the way they were made.
Let me explain: First these coins were part of the 2009 Special Mint Set. The surfaces of the blanks were specially ‘burnished’ to produce a near perfect striking surface. Second these cents were made from the original copper composition used from 1909 to 1962 except the war years. Third the metallic composition is different from that used for circulation strikes in 2009. They are copper plated zinc. Please note that some of the circulation strike 2009 cents sell for more than $3200.
The set offered here consists of eight coins; all four designs for 2009 from both mints.
Each set is one of at most 564 sets that can be assembled according to NGC's population reports at the end of January 2010.
The key coin is the ‘Professional Life’ Philadelphia issue with only 564 pieces graded MS67. Grading fees conservatively estimated at $11 per coin would be $88 for the set of eight. Each coin carries the distinctive Lincoln Bicentennial Bronze Label with the unique ‘SMS’ designation. This confirms the special metallic composition of these beautiful coins. Since these coins come from mint sets they generally graded higher than circulation strikes and you can benefit from their lower price.
Due to a fortunate buy we are able to offer these sets at a ridiculously low price.
This is your last opportunity to get all 8 coins at this price !
NGC actual report will be included with each set !
